We at Perfect Pear want you to be thrilled with your website and will work closely with you to make sure that happens. Whenever possible we follow these simple guidelines when creating your new website:
• Informal meeting to discuss requirements
• We provide a specification and costings
• We create a mockup for you to see the design and send it to you
• We discuss/agree on the design
• You give us written confirmation or purchase order to enable us to proceed
• You provide any content you wish to go onto the site
• We deliver the basic site
• We discuss any additional requirements you may have
• We provide all site administration
• Full site delivery and upload
From your initial contact we will take your details and arrange a visit. This is so that we can meet you in your own environment, listen to your requirements, and get a feel for your business. We will have an informal chat about the ideas you have, colour schemes, content etc. If you don’t have any firm ideas, we can suggest different options for you. Further to the meeting we will complete a full specification, injecting some of our creative flair. This will include a site mock-up and colour scheme.
3) Base Site Delivery
Once the first phase is nearing completion we will move onto the construction of the website. By this stage you will have given us your thoughts on the mock-up, colour schemes and possibly the logo design with approval to move forward on the project.
The team will go away and work on delivering the base site within a few weeks. During this stage we will stay in close contact with yourself.
4) Content
What we create will be your website and we encourage you to get involved with the content - nobody knows your business better than yourself.
From experience we know that the clients who provide the most information, pictures, etc. get the most out of their new website.
The content will be added to the website and a period of review/change will start.
5) Release
This is the big day when your website goes live on the Internet. During the previous phase we would have made many changes to the intial website and now its ready to be launched. It needs to be right first time and with this in mind Perfect Pear will work closely with you in the run up to going live in order to ensure all your requirements are met on the first day.
6) Additional Work
If there are additions that do go outside the scope of the initial specification, there may be an additional cost involved. If this is the case we will always inform you and await your confirmation before going ahead. There will be no surprises.
7) Website Management
Once the site is completed, we will administer the site, be on hand to answer any questions and provide support if necessary.
1) Site Mock-up
Most of our clients like to see what their website could look like, to help with this we will create a mock-up to enable you to visualise the finished site. To keep our costs low we can only complete a maximum of three site mock-ups included in our basic price. Additional mock-ups can be produced at a small fee.
In our experience the mock-up stage of the process is the most important. It is at this point where any changes can be made to your design/colour scheme. Once completed to your satisfaction we request your approval to move forward with the design.
2) Colour Schemes & Logo Design
Perfect Pear have a wealth of experience in designing themes and colour schemes that will maximise your web presence. You may already have your own corporate colours and we can integrate seamlessly into a complete web scheme for you. We can provide these as a colour chart for your consideration during the process.
